Carey connects leaders to purpose and passion to develop catalytic, forward-looking responses to our planet’s greatest challenges. She engages top-level finance and industry leaders, policy makers and civil society to shift to “business as unusual” for better outcomes.

Recent projects include launching The Rallying Cry initiative to catalyse private sector investment on gender and climate in Africa; co-leading the DFI Gender Finance Collaborative; lead facilitation for Financial Alliance for Women annual summits and All-Stars Academies; implementing gender inclusive strategies for financial institutions in emerging markets; and delivering FutureWomenX global impact accelerators, expeditions and executive coaching for female business leaders and their allies.

Carey has an established track record of driving successful partnerships, teams and projects in over fifty emerging market and OECD countries. She is the founder of Sustainable Finance Advisory, Ltd. Chief Strategist for FutureWomenX; and READ Global board member. She holds an international MBA (ESCP-EAP) and Juris Doctor of Laws and BA from the University of Michigan.
