Michelle Yue

Michelle is a philanthropist and social entrepreneur focused on maximising the potential of women and girls to change the world.
Michelle is Co-Founder of The Beam Network, a membership-based organisation that focuses on financial education to enable women to have greater involvement in the management of their wealth and finances, whilst driving the movement towards financial systems and economic opportunities that are more inclusive and more sustainable.
She co-founded and chairs The Millby Foundation, which builds agency for women and girls vulnerable to exploitation, trafficking and gender-based violence. Michelle is also Chair of the Council of Advocates for the Freedom Fund, a leader in the movement to end modern slavery, and a Trustee of the Robert HN Ho Family Foundation, a global philanthropic organisation that supports Chinese arts and culture and furthers Buddhist philosophy in contemporary society. Michelle previously served as both Chair of the Fundraising and Marketing Committee and Vice-Chair of the Board for Women for Women International UK.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Michelle resided in Hong Kong for a decade before settling in London where she lives with her partner, her two teenagers and their Catalan Sheepdog.
